Leia is referred to as General in the new movie, reported Aceshowbiz.
"She's referred to as general, but there's a moment in the movie where a character sort of slips and calls her 'Princess'. It's not revealed who slips up, but it may be a character played by a returning actor like Han Solo (Harrison Ford)," said Abrams.
Carrie Fisher, who plays General, described Leia as 'solitary and under a lot of pressure'.
"Committed as ever to her cause, but I would imagine feeling somewhat defeated, tired, and pissed,"she added.
