14-year-old boy at a village in Bihar's Kaimur district today.
Bhabhua Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Vikas Jaiswal said the incident happened at Pandeypur village in the district and the boy has been identified as Sonu Kumar 14-years old boy was injured.
"The boy had gone to his agriculture field to bring sugarcane. He saw the leopard and fled, but the animal attacked him. Hearing his cries, villagers rushed to the spot and rescued him," Jaiswal said.
Kumar has been admitted to government hospital in Kaimur, where his condition is stated to be stable.
The SDM also said that a wildlife rescue team consisting of forest department officials is coming from Patna to trap the wild animal.
