Leopard kills a child

A 12-year-old boy was killed allegedly by a leopard in a village in Bankatwa range under Suhelwa Wild Life Division in the district, a forest department official said today.
The boy, Nabiullah son of Chand Ali and his five-year-old sister were sleeping at their grandfather's place in village Ratanwa last night, when leopard came and quitely took the boy with him, he said.
Mutilated body of Nabiullah was recovered this morning from near Hathiyakund Nala.
The body has been handed over to police for post mortem, they said.
Attack by leopard on human beings happens frequently here and this year, around 40 such cases have been reported.
