Two pieces of leopard skin were seized from two persons who were arrested at Damasahi under Udala range of Baripada forest division in Odisha today, police said.
The arrested men were carrying the hides, measuring 152 cm and 175 cm, following a deal with a group of poachers active in Similipal sanctuary.
"We are acting upon the information given by the two arrested men. We hope to catch the poachers soon," said Sanjay Swain, DFO Baripada Forest Division.
