Leopardess dies in Indore

A 4-year-old wild leopardess
today succumbed to her injuries during treatment at the hospital of Kamla Nehru Zoo here, an official said.
The injured leopardess was brought here from the jungles of Hatpipaliya village in adjoining Dewas district by the forest department officials two days back, Zoo in-charge Dr Uttam Yadav said, adding the rear side of animal was paralysed and one of its hind limbs was fractured.
The leopardess might have either got injured in a road accident or attacked by villagers, he said.
The carcass has been sent for post mortem, Yadav said.
