The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1.36 lakh on him.
According to the prosecution, Peer Mohammed had taken his friend's 14-year-old daughter to his house on March 7, 2007 and raped her. This continued for at least three months.
He also threatened the girl that he will kill her father if she complained about the incident to her parents or police.
However, the girl told her parents about the incident when she came to know that she was pregnant.
Mahila Court judge M P Subramanian sentenced Peer Mohammed to life imprisonment and ordered him to pay a fine of Rs 1.36 lakh.
