Lifer for three for killing man over property dispute

: Three persons, including a woman, were today sentenced to life imprisonment by a district court here for murdering a man over a property dispute in 2012 near Pollachi.
The prosecution case was that Mayilsami, his wife Radhamani and son Paneerselvam had trespassed into the house of one Rajendran and hacked him to death, over a property dispute near Pollachi in the district on March 20, 2012.
Police had registered a case, which was going on in the 3rd Additional District Court.
Judge V Subramaniam found the trio guilty, sentenced them to life and also slapped a fine of Rs 5,000 on each of them.
