thundershowers occurred at isolated places in Uttar Pradesh even as temperatures varied in different parts of the state.
According to MeT office, temperature rose appreciably in Meerut division, fell in Allahabad division and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state.
It was appreciably above normal in Faizabad, Lucknow, Bareilly divisions, above normal in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Moradabad, Meerut divisions and were normal in the remaining divisions of the state.
Highest maximum temperature was 44.4 degrees Celsius recoded at Etawah.
MeT office, in a forecast, said rains or thundershowers would occur at isolated places over the state during the next 24 hours.
