Light rains over few places in Punjab, Haryana

A few parts of Punjab and Haryana today received light to moderate rains, with the maximum temperatures hovering close to normal level.
Chandigarh was lashed by sharp showers this morning. The maximum temperature here settled at 33 degree Celsius, the MeT officials here said.
Ambala in Haryana recorded a maximum temperature of 34 deg C after light showers while Hisar's high settled at 34.8 deg C.
Karnal, which received rains, recorded a high of 33.6 deg C while Narnaul's maximum settled at 34 deg C.
In Punjab, Patiala, Ludhiana and Mohali were among other places to be lashed by rains.
Amritsar and Ludhiana recorded respective maximums of 34.1 deg C and 32.3 deg C. Patiala registered a high of 32.1 deg C.
