Light rains predicted in national capital

Delhiites today woke up to a cloudy morning with the weatherman predicting light rains in some parts of the national capital.
According to MeT department, minimum temperature was recorded at 26.8 degrees Celsius while maximum is expected to settle around 36 degree Celsius.
Official said that humidity level was recorded at 83 per cent till 8.30 AM this morning.
He said that 2.5-mm rainfall has been recorded at Palam observatory in the last 24 hours. However, other parts of the city did not receive any rainfall.
"Light rains with thundershowers may occur in some parts of the national capital today and the sky will remain generally cloudy," said an official of MeT department.
Yesterday, the maximum temperature in the city had been recorded at 35.4 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal, while the minimum had settled at 27.8 degrees, one point above normal.
