Rainfall was recorded in Bharatpur, Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota, Ajmer divisions, even as the weather remained dry in rest of the divisions across the state since yesterday.
Bonli recorded 5 cm rainfall, while Sawaimadhopur Tehsil, Swai Madhopur district, Piplu in Tonk district and Nainwa in Bundi district recorded 1 cm each, the weather department said.
Meanwhile, mercury made an upward swing at most places since yesterday.
Ganganagar recorded a maximum temperature of 41.9 degrees Celsius followed by Pilani and Bikaner (both 39.6), Jaisalmer (39), Jaipur (38.7), Barmer (38), Jodhpur (37.5) and Ajmer (36).
