Lightning claims three lives in Odisha
A farmer and his wife died when lightning struck them when they were working in a paddy field in Bhadrak rural area, officials said.
Another person was killed in lightning while working in the field at Patia village in the district, they said.
District emergency office sources said two persons of Ichhapur village under Bhadrak rural police station limit sustained injuries in the lightning when they were returning from their paddy field.
Both are admitted to Bhadrak district headquarters hospital, the sources added.
