While one Farooq Ahmed died after being struck by lightning in the Jij area of Mahore tehsil in Reasi district, another victim, Ayoub, was killed in the Kotranka belt in Budhal tehsil of Rajouri district yesterday, officials said.
A similar tragedy claimed the life of one Arif in Ragoora village near Sidhra last evening.
Officials added that one Nazia had to be hospitalised after being injured in a lightning strike at Balakote in Rajouri district.
Police, meanwhile, said they had recovered the body of one Kewal Krishan with the victim believed to have been killed in a flash flood in a nullah in Daali village of Rajouri district last night.
