Likha Tara elected as KAI vice-president

Arunachal Pradesh Karate Association (APKA) president Likha Tara was elected Karate Association of India (KAI) vice-president in its election at New Delhi today.
Tara has been elevated to vice-president after he worked as joint secretary since 2006, a press release said.
Congratulating Tara, members of APKA expressed hope that karatekas from the state would get adequate representation in the national and international level.
Arunachal Pradesh Olympic Association also congratulated Tara on his election as KAI vice-president, the release added.
