Linseed oil gained further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today following good demand from paint and allied industries.
While, groundnut oil and refined palmolein declined due to lower demand from stockists and retailers.
Meanwhile, castor seed bold and castor oil commercial held stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the non-edible segment, linseed oil moved up by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 820 from last Saturday's closing level of Rs 815.
Castor seed bold and castor oil commercial closed unchanged at Rs 4,125 per 100 kg and Rs 855 per 10 kg, respectively.
Moving to the edible segment, groundnut oil moved down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 840 as compared with Rs 845 previously and refined palmolein softened by a rupee per 10 kg to Rs 705.
