Patna recorded 0.6 mm rain during the day, Bhagalpur registered 11.8 mm and Purnea 0.4 mm, while Gaya saw trace, a met office bulletin said.
But the meagre rainfall did not have much impact on hot condition.
The maximum temperature was 41 degrees in Patna, 41.8 degrees at Gaya, 40.8 degree at Bhagalpur and 37.2 degree celsius in Purnea, the bulletin said.
The state weather office forecast mainly clear sky in Patna and Gaya tomorrow and possibility of rain in Bhagalpur and Purnea.
