in the 16th Orissa High Court-level mega Lok Adalat held here today.
Among them, 58 cases pertaining to Motor Accident Claim Tribunal (MACT) were settled in which insurance companies were directed to pay damage of Rs 1.27 cr to claimants.
Executive chairman of Odisha State Legal Services Authority Justice P K Mohanty, Chairman of High Court legal services committee Justice M M Das and Justices Indrajit Mohanti, S C Parija, Dr A K Rath and Biswajit Mohanty of Orissa High Court presided over the Lok Adalat.
Out of 26 civil writ petitions listed on the day, three were disposed of amicably among the parties.
But of the 86 land acquisition cases, only one was disposed of as parties in the remaining cases did not turn up.
For the first time, the bank securitisation matters were listed in the Lok Adalat and out of 285 listed, 14 were disposed of.
