The 17-year-old star has revealed that she keeps texting Swift to seek his advice on things, reported Rolling Stone magazine.
During the interview, Lorde, whose real name is Ella Yelich-O'Connor), texted Swift to get her opinion about the perfect Christmas gift for her manager.
"Taylor's super-good at this stuff. She's decorated her own houses for ages," Lorde said.
The two singers became friends after Swift sent Lorde a bunch of roses when her single 'Royals' hit No 1.
Lorde revealed that Swift was not aware of the interview but when the 'Red' hitmaker got to know about the dish, she laughed it off.
