"We loved Luke this season," executive producer Jeffrey Bell told when asked if the show was planning to keep Lincoln around, reported Entertainment Weekly.
"We have a lot of ideas for Luke... He was a nice addition this past season, so he is definitely being considered for all that" he added.
The third season will return to ABC this fall.
The 30-year-old "Tomorrow People" alum joined the show in season two as Lincoln, a charismatic Inhuman who helped Skye (Chloe Bennet) discover her powers, and eventually sided with SHIELD after Inhuman leader Jaiying incited a war between them.
