Micromax was allotted 16 acre of land at IT Park situated in Barwai, Bhopal in October 2015. But now following a change in the company's plan, the state government instead has decided to allot 10 acre land at Pithampur industrial area, some 40 km from here, he said.
Micromax has to deposit Rs 2.5 crore with the government for the purpose, said the official.
The firm will get the concessions and sops from the government provided it start commercial production at Pithampur in three years, he added.
