Two persons today drowned in Sukta river at Ghambirpura village, around 49 km from the district headquarters, police said.
Karan Gaikwad (25) and Rupesh Shah (19) drowned in the river while bathing due to sudden rise in the water level following rains, said Dhoolkot police outpost assistant sub inspector Sohan Singh Chauhan.
Their bodies have been fished out from the river and sent for post mortem, he said, adding a probe was underway.
