"The impugned orders are liable to be set aside, accordingly the writ petitions challenging cancellation of the licenses are allowed," Justice V.Ramasubramanian said.
However, the judge said, this order will not preclude the Central government from taking any action in accordance with law on the basis of information available with them.
The Court had on September 2 reserved orders on the petitions filed by Sun Group-owned Kal Cables Private Limited challenging the circular issued by the I&B Ministry.
