Sahil (14) and Musharff (8) managed to escape from the Madrassa yesterday and reached the Alwar (Junction) railway station with chains in their legs. Onlookers then informed the police, SP Ajay Pal Lamba said today.
They were freed and handed over to a child welfare committee, Lamba added.
A case against the accused, Maulana Ayub, was registered and he was arrested under the Juvenile Justice Act, he said.
The children have said in their complaint that they were chained in the Madrassa from last few days, the SP said.
"The committee of Additional Director Minority department, SDM Alwar and District Minority officer will submit its report in three days," Tank said.
