A Division Bench of Justice R.Sudhakar and Justice V.M.Velumani was disposing of a petition filed by one G.Thiagarajan, seeking to implement series of measures to protect the environment and ecology of the complex where there were 5000 trees and plants.
The bench said the administration had taken measures for systematic planting and maintenance of a large variety of trees and plants. This had improved the environment of the court. The water body in the court and trees attracted a huge gathering of birds.
The judges said the PIL litigant's suggestions could also be considered by the administration.
