Maha governor inaugurates Central Kitchen

Maharashtra Governor Vidyasagar Rao today inaugurated the country's first Central Kitchen on the premises of a ashram (boarding) school for tribal students at Mundhegaon village in the district.
The kitchen named as 'Annapurna' is a joint initiative of the Maharashtra Government, Tata Trust and Akshyaypatra Foundation.
It could prepare food for at least 20,000 students of the boarding schools in Nashik district, stated a government release.
State ministers, public representatives and officials attended the function.
Earlier, after his arrival from Mumbai, the Governor and his wife visited 'Ramkunda' on the banks of Godavari river in Nashik town which is hosting Simhastha Kumbh Mela 2015, and performed rituals.
