Maha govt directionless, complete failure: Opposition

Accusing the BJP-led Maharashtra government of being "directionless", Opposition parties today alleged that Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has cheated the people of the state.
Addressing a joint press conference, Opposition leader of state Legislative Assembly Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil and Legislative Council Dhananjay Munde today said, "We have not seen such a directionless government in the history."
"Fadnavis government is indulging in corruption and involved in scams. Chief Minister is giving clean cheat to corrupt ministers. This is ridiculous," Vikhe Patil said.
"The government did not give anything to the farmers of Maharashtra. People of the state are disappointed. Criminals are roaming free and farmers are committing suicide. Overall the state has touched a new low," he added.

On the BJP and Shiv Sena bickering, Munde said it was all "farce and drama" and slammed the Sena for its "double standards".
Munde said the government is acting against the interests of farmers. "It's a failure of the government. They are playing with the emotions of people. We will continue our fight for the people of state outside the House also."
Former Maharashra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan, who was also present demanded that the government should appoint a judicial enquiry on the "tur dal scam".
