Mahila Cong workers, Dalits hold protest

Dalit activists today burnt effigies of Union Minister V K Singh and Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar at Kosli here to protest the "increasing atrocities against Dalits throughout the state".
Activists of Congress' women wing also burnt an effigy of the Haryana government at Model Town here to protest the alleged failures of the Khattar dispensation.
The BJP government, which completed one year in office yesterday, has not yet fully implemented its poll promises leading to widespread resentment among the people of the state, State Mahila Congress spokesperson Vandana Popli said.
