The film was chosen for the 'India Gold' section by a jury chaired by eminent director Shyam Benegal.
It would also be presented at the Mumbai film mart, where select films from the country are introduced to global film distributing companies.
Actor and script-writer Murali Gopi, actress Lena and noted theatre artistes have played prominent roles in the film.
Manoj's documentary 'A Pestering Journey' had won the national award for best investigative film in 2010.
