Malka rises on local demand

Malka prices were up by Rs 50 per quintal in lacklustre trade at the wholesale market today due to local demand.
However, other pulses, after moving in a tight range in scattered deals, settled around previous levels.
Marketmen said the rise in malka prices was mostly supported by pick-up in demand from local parties.
In the national capital, malka local and best quality were up by Rs 50 each to Rs 6,050-6,350 and Rs 6,250-6,350 per quintal, respectively.

Masoor small 5,200-5,450, bold 5,200-5,550, Dal Masoor local 6,100-6,200, best quality 6,200-6,300, Malka local 6,050-6,350, best 6,250-6,350, Moth 5,000-5,300, Arhar 4,650-4,850, Dal Arhar Dara 5,950-6,250.
