"Mamata Banerjee will play a very important role after the 2014 Lok Sabha election as neither the Congress led UPA or the NDA of the BJP will get the majority," TMC general secretary Mukul Roy said at a public rally at Alamganj in Bardhaman district.
Roy further claimed that the Left Front especially the CPI(M) will become a spent force in the national politics after the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
The TMC general secretary claimed that the Mamata Banerjee government has set up four universities and 34 colleges after coming to power in the state.
