Firoz, who was arrested from Bihar's Hussainabad area in Bhagalpur district was brought to Lakhnadoun town in Seoni district last evening and produced in the court of Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC) Kirti Kashyap, who sent him to jail until May 4.
A large number of people, especially women, gathered outside the court raised slogans against the accused and even threw a slipper at him.
Meanwhile, the condition of the little girl undergoing treatment at Care Hospital, Nagpur remained critical and Seoni district officials said that doctors have consulted their counterparts in Mumbai for seeking their opinion in the case.
