The victim was abducted from outside her house on Saturday where she was playing. As her mother Neetu Upadahaya could not find her an FIR was lodged by her at Sonia Vihar police station following which a massive search operation was launched by the police.
"However, the police soon learnt that one Raju and Totla living as tenant in the same complex were also missing.
"A police team reached the native place of Totla at Buland Shaher and on further clues raided early morning at Brij Ghat in Hapur, UP from where Raju's associate Geeta was caught with the child from the house of one Santosh, who too is his friend," said Additional Commissioner of Police (North East) V V Chaudhary.
"Geeta has disclosed that the motive of kidnapping was to avenge a Raju had with the victim's mother," said Chaudhary.
