According to an FIR filed by the victim's father, on October 12, the 15-year-old girl had gone to answer call of nature along with her mother when Mukesh Jaat, accompanied by three or four associates, allegedly abducted her and raped her from Bhuchal village under Magorra police station, Deputy SP Sanjai Kumar said.
The girl was recovered on Saturday from the village following which she was medically examined, the DSP said, adding, her statement (Kalam Band Bayan) would be taken in the court of a magistrate.
Jaat, who is a resident of Sabora village in Bharatpur district, was arrested yesterday and a hunt is underway for his associates, he added.
