Man arrested for allegedly sending abusive emails to relative

An area sales manager working for a company was arrested today for allegedly sending abusive emails to his distant relative with an intention to defame his wife, the Cyberabad police said today.
The accused, Chinni Praveen Kumar, created a fake email ID and sent as many as eight abusive emails to take revenge against the complainant, presuming that the complainant is responsible for straining relation with his wife, Additional DCP (Crimes) G Janaki Sharmila said.
The abusive emails caused lot of mental tension to the complainant and he approached the cybercrime police during December last year.
During investigation it came to light that Praveen Kumar, an area sales manager had sent the abusive emails and a police team arrested him, the senior police officer said.
