The accused, Mukesh, 35, who is a cab driver in Gurgaon and lives in Mangolpuri area was suspicious of his wife Priyanka frequently meeting her ex-husband Rohit. He allegedly hatched a plan along with Priyanka's juvenile brother to get rid of Rohit, said Vikramjit Singh, DCP (outer).
Acting on a missing complaint filed by Rohit's father Ashok Kumar on September 6 police caught Mukesh and and his brother-in-law and they confessed to their involvement in his disappearance and murder, said the officer.
Mukesh told police that he invited Rohit on August 9 at his residence and they consumed liquor. As per the plan he took Rohit for a long drive in his employer's vehicle and during the drive they made him drink liquor and reached Dwarka-Gurgaon Expressway area where they strangled him.
Mukesh's friend Vijay was also involved in the murder. Other accused Anand and Ashraf caught Rohit's legs and then Vijay and Mukesh beheaded Rohit, he said.
After beheading Mukesh they threw his torso in a pit on the road-side and burnt it by pouring kerosene over it.
