Basant of Bindaur village had lured two youth Kalicharan (20) and Vijaypal (15) to Mumbai and after selling them to a contractor there, came back home with his share of money, police station in-charge of Masauli, Brijesh Pandey said.
Kalicharan, who somehow managed to flee from the clutches of the contractor and returned home, told the villagers about it who caught hold of Basant and handed him over to the police yesterday, Padney said.
A case has been registered in this regard and a police team has been sent to Mumbai to rescue others like Kalicharan who have been sold there, Pandey said.
