On Thursday night Manoj raped her niece after finding her alone in the house. He, later, threatened her not to reveal it to anyone, SHO Ummed Yadav said, adding the accused and his sister lived in the same colony.
The victim narrated her ordeal to her parents and they lodged a complaint with the police, he said.
On a tip off, Manoj was arrested and a case under section 376 of IPC (punishment for rape) and POCSO Act registered against him, he added.
