Man arrested from near Indo-Pak border in Barmer

A man, who was roaming under suspicious circumstances near the Indo-Pak border here, was arrested by Border Security Force personnel, who suspected that he wanted to cross the border.
The man, who identified himself as Shaukin Khan from Uttar Pradesh, was arrested late last night from Kalaro Ka Tala village near the border, police said.
He said that he had come to Barmer to buy a camel, but intelligence agencies suspected that he wanted to cross the border, they said.
After initial interrogation, he was handed over to the local police who were trying to verify his identity, they said.
