Acting on a tip-off, the hotel was raided and Arshad Hussain was arrested along with 200 grams of cannabis, they said.
The accused ran the hotel at Ban Ganga area of Katra town which is the base camp for the cave shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, police said.
The accused has been booked under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (NDPS), police said.
