Man arrested with heroin worth Rs 5 Cr

Police today arrested a person and recovered one kg heroin worth Rs 5 crore in the street market from him.
Amritsar Police Commissioner Jatinder Singh Aulakh said police arrested Sagar Singh here who was planning to supply the consignment to metro cities outside Punjab.
Besides, police also recovered two automatic pistols with fourteen live cartridges from him, he said.
