Man attacks wife after suspecting her character

A spa manager allegedly shot at his wife after suspecting her character in Lajpat Nagar colony of Sahibabad, police said today.

SHO Rakesh Kumar Singh said that the man identified as Vishvendra Singh was drunk and shot at her wife. He later reached the police station and narrated the whole incident to the police.

The woman was rushed to a hospital where she was undergoing treatment, the police said.

Vishvendra doubted that his wife had an affair with a Punjabi singer and levelled allegations on her character.

Both have been married for 19 years and have two children, the police said.

The police was interrogating the incident, they said.
