Man beats to death his parents over property dispute

A 35-year-old man today allegedly beat his parents to death using a stick in Rajanagaram mandal of East Godavari district over a property dispute, police said.
B Chinnaiah, a daily worker, beat his father - B Chitti, and mother B Nukkamma with a stick at their residence this evening. The duo died on the spot, Rajahmundry Urban DSP P Sowmya Latha said.
The property dispute between Chinnaiah and his brother and quarrel between his mother and wife are the reason for the killing, she added.
Chinnaiah, was the second son and his wife had gone to her parents residence last night, she added.

However, Chinnaiah absconded from the scene and search is on to nab him, police said.
A case under relevant sections of IPC was registered and investigations are underway, they said.
