Man dead after consuming spurious liquor

Deputy superintendent of police Shams Afroz said acting on the complaint lodged by the victim's kin, the police raided the illicit liquor shops at Rahui, Rajgir and Biharshrif area and arrested the three for running them.

A large quantity of illicit liquor was seized and destroyed by the police, he said adding a haul of pouches and equipment for packaging and liqour processing were seized from the shops.
