The police said 55-year-old Jagannath Sardar died of severe exhaustion after falling ill at Bishnupur bazar in the district.
The doctors at Bishnupur Sub-Divisional Hospital declared him brought dead.
Family members of Sardar said that he left home at Kuchakol village in Jaipur police station in the morning to buy seeds of vegetables at the market where he collapsed due to severe exhaustion during noon.
The district has been witnessing heatwave for the past few days with temperature reaching 45.6 degree Celsius today.
Chief Medical Officer of Health Dr Jagannath Dinda said that it was not confirmed yet whether Sardar died of sunstroke as he had died when brought to the doctors.
