"The man, aged around 30 years, fell from Pooja Express near Basanter Bridge in Samba and died on the spot. We have been unable to ascertain his identity till now," an officer of the Railway Police in Jammu said.
On receiving information about the mishap, the Railway Police reached the spot and recovered the body.
"We have shifted the body to GMC hospital in Jammu where it has been kept in a mortuary," he said.
A case has been registered and investigations are on, the officer said.
