Two persons have been booked for allegedly assaulting a doctor at the sub-district hospital in Dahanu in Maharashtra's Palghar district, police said Tuesday.

An official said the 17-year-old son of a patient who died at the hospital Monday and his friend punched Dr Ocean D'Souza, the medical officer on duty at the facility, several times, leaving the latter with a nose injury.
