Man electrocuted, another injured

A 60-year-old man was electrocuted when a high tension power line snapped over him in Tambore area in the district, police said.
Salikram died when the 11,000-volt power line, crossing over his fields, fell on him in Kankari village yesterday, they said.
Meanwhile, his grandson Ranjeet (24) got injured in the incident and has been admitted to community health centre.
Agitated over the incident, villagers blocked a road and demanded action against Power Department officials following which the police lodged a case against junior engineer Puran Singh and sub-divisional officer Vivek Patel.
