A revolver with ammunition was seized from Kanhu Swain (23) who was arrested after an encounter with police while his accomplice escaped, police said.
Swain who sustained bullet injury in his right leg during the exchange of fire was admitted to hospital at Bhanjanagara, police said adding he is stated to be out of danger.
