Man from TN held for stealing ancient statue

Police today arrested a person who had allegedly stolen an ancient statue of Lord Ganesh worth Rs 20 lakh and seized it from him at Kamalapur in the district. The accused was trying to sell the statue at a guest house, police said.
He was identified as Mani (52) from Tamil Nadu.
