Man gets lifer in murder case

A man was awarded life imprisonment and slapped Rs 5000 fine by a local court today in connection with a murder committed five years ago.
The Fast Track Court (FTC) - 8 judge Amrit Lal Yadav passed the order convicting the accused Ranjit Yadav after finding him guilty in the murder case of a person named Vipul Yadav in January 2009.
The convicted had shot at the victim and wounded him at his house here following an enmity between them.
Yadav died two days later during treatment at the Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH).
